On July 8, 2008, CJSC Renova Orgsyntes donated a Terra Encyclopedia to the Samara Public Science Library.
The donation ceremony was attended by Anton Sergeev (Deputy CEO, CJSC Renova Orgsyntes) and Matvey Matyushin (CEO CJSC Neftechimia), as well as the Samara Region Culture and Youth Policy Department, Human Rights Agency and representatives of the Novokuibyshevsk Municipal Government.
“Social responsibility is fundamental for our company,” said Mr.Sergeev. “We are making our third donation of this unique encyclopedia to the Samara Region library. Today this encyclopedia is very popular in Novokuibyshevsk and Chapaevsk. Terra Encyclopedia includes 62 volumes and is second to none in the history of Soviet and Russian book printing, and I hope it will be a great addition to the library for the benefit of students and other readers.”
